Ceramics comprise the basic material of the future, based on the fact that their field of application is becoming larger and larger. It could either be an extremely high temperature, a high voltage electric insulation required, high wear resistance or mechanical stress - the field of application of ceramics is wide ranging.

Bakony Technical Ceramics Ltd. has got technical experience of more than two decades in serial production of high alumina based ceramic products. The high quality technical ceramic parts produced in our company are built into different equipment used for either industrial or domestic purposes. We have the appropriate machinery and technology for the production of spark plug insulators.

The manufacturing plant is based in Veszprém, in the west of Hungary. We have 180 employees and 98% of our products are exported. Our main customers come from the USA and different countries in Western Europe and we have partners in South Europe, in the Far East, in Mexico and in Canada as well.

Technical ceramics are produced with various technologies such as isostatic pressing and grinding, pressing in metal tool, injection moulding and extrusion. The raw material is 95-99,8 % alumina (Al2O3).

In order to meet the requirements of our customers at a higher level, we have been operating our manufacturing technology in compliance with the standard ISO 9001 since 1995.
