Granulate Production

Spray granulation is carried out by atomizing liquid dispersions of ceramic powders in a flow of hot air atmosphere. Granulated oxides are processed from aqueous slurries spray-dried in air.

In the spray-drying process, the atomized dispersion and the hot gas/air may flow either co-current or counter current (Figure 1). Both systems have their specific advantages. BAKONY is using NIRO and DORST a spray dryer where the counter current systems are energetically more efficient than the current method, this allows higher output and optimal operating costs.

Our company's granulate production capacity (2500 tons / year) is sufficient for cover the internal ceramics production ( Alumina 92-99,7%, Zirconia and ZTA) also unique individual needs for our external partners at high level of quality and service.

Our ability to produce raw materials is a competitive advantage that guarantees that you can get the optimal press powder for your product. In case of any technical and or commercial question just contact us today!
